If you want your perfect customer to pay money for your business, then you need to get their attention. This article will show you exactly how to get their attention...so keep reading!

Most ads suck at selling. They might be funny, colourful or even well designed. But they suck at getting clients. I will show you a simple method that makes writing ads easy and guarantees clients, leads and you getting paid. Let’s get into it:

Ad Mistake That Costs You Customers

Most ads (in most countries and local businesses) are boring. Or they’re confusing. Sometimes, you’re not even sure what the ad is offering. So let’s avoid writing stuff like this: "We’re really good at what we do and the competition is bad and we’ve been in business for 20 years and we really care about you as a customer.” If you’re like me, you probably have no clue what this business is trying to sell. It’s also boring. Boring doesn’t sell. Side note: Let’s not insult other businesses because it just ruins our reputation and makes us look jealous. Using Razor Sharp Hooks That Grab Your Reader And Don’t Let Go If you want customers to buy from you, there’s no other way around it. You’ve got to hook them into your ad so they can keep reading far enough to find out about your offer. And here’s a cold hard truth that will help you grab their attention:

Your prospect doesn’t care about you. They care about THEM. No offense. It’s just true. Focus on making your writing about them. How does reading your stuff help THEM out. How does it help them get what they want? The First Step To Write A Winning Advertisement Let’s imagine your ad is a salesman/saleswoman.

Let's say a salesman for the sake of this example.

Now, let’s say we spot a prospect who is a good fit for our product or service. What would you want your salesman to say to them? What would he ask? What arguments would he use to get the prospect to take action?

Let’s try this with an example and say that we’re selling chiropractic care.

First thing we do is ask a simple question: ‘What kind of person would get chiropractic care?’

Well, it’s safe to say that ‘someone with back pain’ is a good prospect.

So, if we sent our salesman over to speak to the prospect, getting them interested in our chiropractic care could be simple as:

“Hi, does your back hurt?”

Make Writing Effective Ads Easy With This Trick

It’s difficult to write the perfect ad. But it’s even more daunting when you start with a blank page. Which is why we keep things super simple. Think about what your business does or what it sells and ask yourself who would be a good prospect for this service or product. Here’s some examples: “Are you a business owner and would you like to attract more clients?”

“Does your lower back hurt?”

“Are you looking to lose some weight in the next few weeks?”

“Would you like to improve your golf swing?”

“Would you like to easily and effortlessly attract women?”

Starting as simple as this will put you ahead of 99.7% of ads. It’s really that simple to cut through the clutter of and beat out the noise of other advertisers. Instead of beating around the bush with our ads, we get to the point. Straight for the jugular. No nonsense. Talk soon, RG Marketing
