#1 Google Ads Mistake

Was looking at a couple ads on Google. Noticed a trend among all local businesses.


What I realized is that if you tweaked even ONE thing, you could win so big as a local business.


And it doesn't get easier than this.


Most local businesses don’t advertise much. When they do, their first instinct is to stick their name or logo on their ad, and pray it gets clients.


Whether it’s plumbers, chiropractors, lawyers. You name it.


If you have some time now, go search for ‘Lawyer near me’ on Google. See what shows up.


Keep in mind, this is an expensive keyword on Google. If you bid for it, you going to get charged a lot each month. So better capture every prospect that searches for a lawyer.


But if you look at the headlines of the ads, you’ll see something weird. Notice how barely anyone uses the word ‘lawyer’ in their ad's headline.


That’s odd. Because if someone searches for your service, the first they should see is the name of the service.


And it’s easy to set up. If you’re a lawyer, might be a good idea to put the word ‘lawyer’ in your ad keyword. You don't to ask Chat GPT to write Google keywords for you... just think what your customer would search for and remember...


ONLY thing you have to do as a local biz to win is:


Show up when people look for you.


That’s it.
