From rank #12 to rank #1 on Google
We worked with a drainage company in Vancouver. They asked us if they could show up higher on Google when people searched for 'drainage vancouver'.
Initially, the client was doing fairly well, they were ranking #12 for this search.

After I logged in to the profile. I knew exactly what had to be done.
I always start with the Google Business Profile. I filled it in from top to bottom, picking the right categories, adding services with descriptions and adding Google updates.
Then I order citations from a professional company in the background. This helps with your local authority.

I knew that I could rank this client even higher. So, as I got access to the client's website in November, I began the next set of changes.
I did a tiny bit of the on-page SEO work. Which means I:
- Changed the Title Tag
- Changed the H1/H2 Tags
Just from those changes. The client bounced from spot 8 to spot 1.

The next step with this client is building location specific pages within the Vancouver area. This will help turn all the red areas (where we're ranking lower) on the heat map into green.

Top 3 in a Few Weeks
We worked with a junk removal company in Mississauga. They asked if they could get in the top 3 in their area. Initially, they were doing well but avg. ranking was low.


I followed the SEO checklist which means I start with the Google Business Profile. I cleaned up the number of categories, added the important services with descriptions.
I also ordered the citation package in the background.
I began work on the homepage with the title, H1 and H2 tags.
This is how it looks after 3 weeks.

From unranked to #6 on Google
We worked with a painting company in Vancouver. They were already running Google ads but they wanted to show up higher organically - so without paying Google for the spot.
We decided the search term 'painters vancouver' has a lot of volume and would mean business for the company.
Initially, the client was nowhere to be seen in the rankings. Not even on the 6th page.

When you follow a process, this stuff is easy.
Logged in to the profile... filled in the Google Business Profile entirely. Filled in the opening date, holiday hours, service areas, cleaned up categories.
I understand you're busy as a business owner which means I can work around it. I got photos from my client's older social media posts. I filled in accurate services by cross checking the website.


As small as it may seem, this took my client right to the 2nd page for 'painters vancouver'.
Business profile interactions are calls, website clicks, people requesting to send you a message.
The client wanted to rank even higher. So I began the next phase of work.
I tinkered with on-page SEO, changing the title tags, headings tags, embedding a map and making sure their NAP was consistent.
During this time, I continued to post updates and geotag photos where we weren't ranking so well.
I payed for high authority citations for this client, that would save both of us the hassle.
2 weeks after these changes, I found out the client is currently ranking #8 in all of Vancouver for 'painters Vancouver'.

Work with this client isn't finished and we're getting closer to that top 3 spot.
Adding location specific service pages and new and fresh citations will get us there in about a month's time.
The Dog Dude
From the 3rd page to the 1st page & consistent lead flow from Google ads
We worked with a dog trainer in Toronto. They wanted to rank higher on Google but past agencies they've worked with had been unsuccessful in getting them there.
This could've been due to the competitive nature in a city like Toronto, but I knew I could help.
We began working together in October 2025.
The search term which made most sense with the most value was 'dog training toronto'.
Initially, the client was ranking at the bottom of the third page for this search term.
I follow a process. So I completed the Google Business Profile.
Completing the profile took us to the 2nd page, but I wasn't too happy with that.
So I did the tweaks on the website and even improved website speed, made sure it worked well on mobile, updated visuals.
And after doing the Google Business Profile and On-page SEO...
We landed on the first page.



After we got there successfully. My client told me he wasn't getting a consistent flow of leads and he would like help in this area. I decided the best course of action would be to do Google ads.
Google ads management includes a landing page and a completely built out system to send you leads.
Google ads invites high intent searchers who are very close to buying.
We were able to 2x the leads he was getting the month before, and we're well on course to bringing him 3-4x leads.
Work with this client isn't finished and we're getting closer to that top 3 spot.
