If you’re a business owner and want to know how to create ads that get attention, get clients, without having to do years of research…then I will show you exactly ‘HOW’ in this article. If you were in a similar position to me when I first started advertising, then you probably had no clue what to do. My basic idea, which might be yours too, was that the more money I put into ads, the more clients I would attract. As a general principle, this may be true, but that’s also a one-way road to burning your ad budget. What I’m actually going to teach you costs you ZERO extra dollars while giving you more clients for the same ad budget.
The Secret Reason Your Ads Don’t Perform
If you think of advertising, usually what comes to mind is what Coca Cola, or McDonalds or what Apple is doing. After all, if they are companies that are doing well, they must know what they’re doing in terms of marketing, right?
Now, when you think or see these ads. They generally share a few traits, whether you saw them on TV or on YouTube or on a billboard. These ads tend to be cliché, funny, and not very replicable.
I mean, who has the same ad budget, or production value as these companies.
However, there is one thing that these ads all had in common and it made me curious.
How could they possibly measure the return on ad spend? The answer is…they couldn’t!
So you’re telling me that the billion dollar companies of the world put an ad out without knowing the return on investment?
Fixing Your Marketing
In life, you generally want to get what you pay for. So why should this change when it comes to your advertising spend. We need to know that for X amount of dollars, we can get Y or close to Y result.
How do we know if we’re getting results?
We measure it.
We can measure it in a couple different ways when it comes to your ad;
How many leads? How many sales? How many new followers or likes?
Half of businesses are throwing their marketing budget, because they don’t measure their ad performance.
Billion dollar companies like McDonalds or Nike focus on ‘getting their name out there’ or ‘promoting their brand’.
How did they get so profitable in the first place then? They started with the basics. They started with lead generation and measuring the return on ad spend.
Every single large billion dollar company you see started with the basics.
If you want the best from your marketing, you can’t just get your name out there, instead, I’ll show you the easiest and most profitable alternative.
The Ads Trick That Took Me Years To Learn…
...That You Can Use In Minutes
Finally, through enough trial and error. I started finding the greatest marketers to date. They all seemed to say the same thing. It was contradicting traditional advertising BUT IT WORKS. Now, I could honestly go on for hours or have a 75 step flow-chart showing you how this will improve your ad performance. But in simple terms: “What is measured, improves” If you want to know if your ad is performing, you measure it. There needs to be a response mechanism, or a call to action that prompts your ad viewers to take action. And we can test to see what’s working and what needs to change. You know what works. And what doesn’t. And that is the key to improving your ad performance. My non-negotiable with my clients is: “Every ad we run needs to be measurable, no exceptions.”
No more jargon. No more vague marketing gobbledygook. Measurable, tangible, solid results.
There’s plenty of ways to do this and it’s doable for every single business, yours included. If you want to know how we would do this in your business, get in touch with us today
